The lid
A leak-proof screw cap that closes tight so it can ride in a bag. After a boil, give it about two minutes before you open it.
The steeping chamber
Clear, so you can watch it brew. A perforated filter floor holds loose leaf above the water — or use a bag. It unscrews from the body.
The heated body
Double-wall stainless with the touch panel and display at the base. Plug it in to heat; unplugged, it stays hot for 12–24 hours.

The perforated filter floor holds whole leaf — no pods, no paper to keep re-buying. Rinse it and fill it again.
Unlock it. Tip it over.
It heats with the chamber locked. When it beeps, unlock it by turning the top and tip it almost all the way over until the hot water fills the chamber. Lock it, stand it upright and steep 1–3 minutes. Unlock it upright and the tea drains down into the bottle.

How it works, in depth
Setting up
Unbox the bottle, the detachable cord and the manual. On first use, boil once with a little loose leaf to clear the new smell. It must be plugged in to heat — once hot, the cord comes off.
The controls
Two touch pads either side of the display. Plug it in first: Confirm/Cancel only works while it’s plugged in. Press it to turn on, then tap the temperature pad to go up 1 °C (hold for 5 at a time); it counts up, then starts over. Press Confirm again to lock the temperature in. The display is in Celsius, 40–100 °C. A normal press works — no need to push hard.
When it’s ready
After you confirm, the display shows the water’s current temperature and climbs to your setting. When it gets there, it gives a low beep.
Brewing
Keep the chamber locked while it heats (unlocked, heat escapes and it takes longer). At the beep, unlock it by turning the top part — not the clear chamber, which gets hot — and tip it almost all the way over until the hot water fills the chamber. Lock it, stand it upright and steep 1–3 minutes. Unlock it upright and the tea drains down into the bottle. Loose leaf or a bag both work; if a bag slows the draining, give it a gentle shake.
Power
120 V / 60 Hz with the detachable cord included. It heats only when plugged in. A small internal battery runs the display when unplugged (tap the temperature pad to see the water temperature) and recharges on the next boil.
Cleaning
Rinse the chamber after each brew. To descale, white vinegar for about 15 minutes, then rinse. Never submerge the body in water.
Care
Always put the water and tea in before you plug it in. After a boil, give it a couple of minutes before opening the lid. Unplugged it doesn’t heat — tap the temperature pad to see how hot the water is.

- 1Water and tea, firstFill the bottle with water. Put loose leaf (or a tea bag) in the clear chamber, screw it on and put the lid on. Keep the chamber locked while it heats.
- 2Plug it in and turn it onPlug it in first — Confirm/Cancel only works while it’s plugged in. Press Confirm/Cancel to turn it on.

Good to know
• Loose leaf drains best. Tea bags work too — if one slows the draining, give it a gentle shake.
• Unplugged, it doesn’t heat. Tap the temperature pad to see how hot the water is.
• First use: boil once with a little loose leaf to clear the new smell.
• Stays hot 12–24 hours, and it’s leak proof.

Can I mix colours on a wholesale order?
Yes, at no extra cost. Write the split in plain words — “20 mint, 20 pearl, 10 apricot” is perfect.
Does the display show Fahrenheit?
No. The BOTA is set and displayed in Celsius, 40–100 °C. The guide printed on the back of the bottle gives the Fahrenheit for each setting, and so does this page.
Is it cordless?
No. It plugs in to heat — any outlet at home, the office or a hotel. Once it’s hot you can unplug it and it stays hot for 12–24 hours.
What if it’s not right?
If a unit arrives dead or defective, tell me within 7 days for single bottles, or 21 days on a wholesale order, and I replace it. Change of mind isn’t a return.
Is shipping free on everything?
On the BOTA bottle, yes. On everything else the buyer pays a flat rate shown on each item ($5.99 or $9.99). Every order ships within 2–3 days. You can also pick up free in Columbus or on the Houston run.
Will you source something that isn’t on the page?
Often, not always. Tell me the category and the quantity and I’ll tell you straight whether I can get it, and roughly when.
Where are you?
Columbus, Texas, about an hour and a half west of Houston. Pickup in Columbus, delivery on the Houston run most weeks, carrier or freight anywhere else by arrangement.
Privacy
What I collect. Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email, your business name if you give it, and your message. It reaches my inbox through Formspree. I use it to answer you and fill your order, and for nothing else. I don’t sell it, rent it or share it for advertising.
Payments. Checkout runs on Square. Your card number goes to Square, never to this site and never to me. Square passes me the details you enter at checkout (name, shipping address, email or phone) so I can ship your order and send your receipt.
Cookies and tracking. This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising code. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
Children. This site is for adult buyers. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
